Someone else took credit for your work

- When someone else publicly takes credit for your work or your idea, it's infuriating. And your gut reaction is usually to stew about it. But your stewing only contributes to dysfunctional team dynamics. Addressing this problem head-on is the only way to solve it. When you confront the person who took credit, you wanna do it in a way that gives them an easy opportunity to apologize. You can say something like, if I recall correctly, several of us contributed to that idea. Because a lot of time, people just get excited about ideas and they do it by accident. More than half of those eager beavers will hear you say this and they will have a moment of self-recognition. Then follow this with emphasizing the importance of teamwork, and the relationship, the collaboration. Teams who don't collaborate well are less successful in the long run.
