You're heading to the equipment room now to talk with your team. Here's the first question I asked you to consider. What will you say to your team upon arriving in the equipment room? My advice here is to take a deep breath before you talk with your team. Technical equipment concerns aren't uncommon in this industry. You can have equipment calibration issues, environmental control issues such as temperature or humidity that needs to be understood, and detailed vendor instructions that need to be followed. The chances that you actually have useless the equipment, however, is not that high. And you almost certainly have vendor warranties and support available to help you address equipment issues.…
