(upbeat music) - As the PMO leader of a mid-sized construction company, you've posted a job for another project manager to join your team. The posting has attracted over 100 internal and external applicants. The challenge for you is to find the most suitable candidate. Here's how I'd tackle this. First, task the HR team to filter resumes and choose the top 10. Ideally, this set of 10 should include three internal and seven external applicants. The criteria to identify the three internal candidates could be relevant experience and a strong reputation within the organization. And for the seven external applicants, the focus could be on midsize construction experience, industry certifications, and a review of recommendations received on LinkedIn.
