(upbeat music) - The challenge that we're looking to solve here is working with the stakeholder who has no interest in collaborating with your PMO. The HR department head has refused your offer to help as you're looking to bring your PMOs project management processes and tools to HR projects. What do you do to engage this stakeholder and successfully work on your mandate to improve project success across the organization? There's no one way to approach this challenge, but here's how I'd tackle it. First, try to understand the root cause of the HR department head's resistance to change. Start by speaking with the HR team to get some insights. Chances are that he's worked with PMOs at his previous companies and they slowed down the progress of his projects.
