- We must sleep to live, period. No negotiation here. Sleep is mandatory for life. Only you can sleep for you. We can outsource lots of activities in our lives and at work. But sleep isn't one of them. Sleep has a very powerful impact on everything you do when you're awake. How productive you are, how you show up at work in meetings, how you interact with your colleagues, your family, and loved ones. So let's take advantage of this superpower by building habits and making choices that empower us to optimize our sleep, to live our very best lives. Hi, I'm Nancy Rothstein. It all started for me with a snoring spouse. And the recognition that I was not the only one whose sleep was challenged. I morphed my career in financial risk management to becoming a sleep expert, recognizing that sleep deprivation had its own risks for life, for health, and at work.
