- Hi, I'm Carrie with chill. When we tune in to our bodies, we give ourselves an opportunity to bring awareness, to how we're feeling physically. This also allows us to quiet thoughts that might be racing or pulling our attention away from the present moment. In this way, as we tune into our bodies, we can soften each area. And this can allow us to fully relax into sleep. So let's practice a body scan. One in which we, compel parts of our body to relax, to get heavy, to fully sink into our beds. So, climb into bed and get comfortable. Allow yourself to, even just as you recline sink in. It might feel supportive to prop a pillow underneath your knees, to cover yourself with a light blanket. To let your arms relax either at your sides or resting softly on your belly. If you naturally like to cross your ankles, it might feel good to separate them away from each other.
