- Many times people will tidy or organize a space as a way to procrastinate. And when I say people, I mean me. That's what I do. I know this to be true about myself and so I'm able to now notice this and stop myself before I start. I refocus my attention and then get back to the task at hand. As a side note, in my defense, tidying isn't actually a terrible time-suck activity if we were to rate them, and that's because clutter can actually make you less productive and more stressed. So, not all time wasters are bad. However, if you're doing something that is taking you away from another more important task, then we're in the danger zone. Okay, I'm being dramatic, it's not that dangerous, but it's something to notice for sure. This skill has taken me years to cultivate.
