- Many hotels these days still limit the number of devices you can connect to their WIFI network for a single price, which can be frustrating since so many of us travel with multiple devices like laptops, phones and tablets. Connecting all of these devices, especially if you're traveling with others, can get a little pricey. But there are some solutions available to share a single WIFI connection over multiple devices. Now, if you're in a room where they still offer Internet service though a wired connection, it's very easy to share that connection wirelessly through a Mac or Windows machine. On a Mac connect the cable to your ethernet port, or more commonly these days to an ethernet port adapter, then go to system preferences, sharing, and select Internet sharing. In the share your connection from menu, select ethernet or the ethernet adapter you're using. Then choose to share this connection over WIFI. Then click WIFI…
