- One of the most effective ways to share the future is to visualize it. Even simple pictures can have a powerful impact. I've been teaching visual thinking in my innovation and futures classes for over 10 years. It's the very first lesson in my MBA innovation class. Can you imagine showing up for your first day of postgraduate work in business and your teacher says, "Today we're going to learn how to draw." If you can learn to communicate complex ideas in simple ways you can be more successful in communicating almost anything, raising money, closing the sale, advancing your idea, all of the above, why?
