- If you find yourself being overshadowed or bullied by your supervisor during your weekly check in, is it possible to invite a colleague to attend with you? If during a meeting you have one team member who is constantly interrupting you, is it possible to find an ally, someone else that you work with who can help you defend yourself in the moment and communicate your point without being interrupted? Think about the ways in which you are struggling at work and then get creative about thinking about the tools and resources you may have at arms' length you might not even realize. The first most important is find your allies. Have you noticed that a difficult member of your team is often out of the office in the afternoon? Is it then possible to schedule meetings while you know this person won't be around?
