Set up your mobile office
As the song says,"you don't know what you've got "till it's gone." That's especially true when you first travel for business and discover just how many ways you rely on office resources. So let's talk about the common tools you'll need on the road. First, here's a shortcut to figure out the biggest gaps. Take your laptop, go to an unfamiliar cafe that has Wi-Fi and work at least a full day from there. This process stress tests your mobile setup, letting you discover issues before you go on the road. But it won't reveal everything. The biggest problem is power, so be sure to pack all the USB cables, chargers, and special adapters that your devices need. Extra batteries and those portable power banks are always worth having. If you're traveling to a different country, you'll face another problem. There are more than 12 shapes for wall plugs.
