- In today's workplace, it's common that companies have some sort of service-driven segment of their organization. This could be a community outreach, such as working with and supporting a local food bank. It might be giving back by donating a certain amount of company profits to a charitable organization. So what does your service-driven segment look like? If you don't have an extension of your culture that's service-driven, why not? If you do, how's it going? When I work with organizations who are interested in creating a service-driven segment of their business, I start by listening for the following. Why do they think this is valuable? What's their motivation? Does it align with who they claim to be? One of the best ways to motivate your company and foster your employees' growth is to serve a great need in this world.
