- Here's a great idea that's more fun than most. Find a unique product and sell it at local craft fairs and farmer's markets. I once interviewed a guy who did this named Chuck Patton on my Opt Out podcast. For him it all started with a one pound coffee roaster and the desire to make his own coffee as a hobby. He eventually began selling his creation at a local farmer's market and it eventually turned into a full-time business. You can do this too. Just keep your eye out wherever you go for attractive or cool craft items that are unique that you believe have resale potential. Renting a booth at a street market is simple and inexpensive. Try to sell the item you think and see how it goes. Keep experimenting until you hit a product that you think you can sell effectively. The potential income here is 200 to $3,000 a month.
