Seated back bends

- Hi there, desk yogis. Today, we're going to play with a nice seated pose that's going to help open up our shoulders, bring a little bit of flexibility into our upper back and our chest. Normally, it's called bird pose. There's a couple of other poses we can call it, the pahara asana if you like. It's a nice little seated posture here to start to open up our shoulders. Just like we spoke about in our seated tadasana video awhile back, we spend so much time in this position here. It's really useful and really comforting to start bringing our shoulders back and down and bringing some space here into our chest. Now, what we're going to do for this pose, we're just going to find our seat here. Go ahead and move into our seated tadasana posture as well. If we're comfortable with that, we remember how to come into that: nice and strong, shoulders wide, chest up, and not super puffed out, seated here a little bit.
