Sales and the sales process

- Sales is a profession that is exciting, rewarding, and offers so many opportunities for those willing to work hard. You're on the front lines with customers enabling you to hear and learn first hand what the marketplace wants and what will be necessary to provide a solution to your buyers. You'll also be working closely within your own company with marketers, development teams, and sales management to ensure your product or service offering meets the requirements you heard from your client. A successful strategy starts by establishing a focus sales process that takes you from the initial prospecting stage to the discovery call and then hopefully to the close. My name is Dean Karrel and I've been in sales and sales management positions for over three decades. All of the sales professionals I've hired and trained have heard me stress the critical importance of mastering the basics and following each step of the sales process. In this course, we'll review each of those steps and when we're done, you'll feel confident about a sales process that you'll want to follow and work with for all of your accounts.
