Sales clock breakdown
- So, I break own sales clock down into three categories of tasks, admin time, research time, and calling or selling time. So these times break down even further. So taking admin time, this includes follow-ups for conversations or meetings that I've already had. So that could be emails, letters, or calls to existing contacts, and so on. But it also includes internal things, so ideas for marketing or checking in with the technical teams to ensure the projects that I've sold are still on track. Essentially, these are tasks that do not directly contribute to your sales, but are essential nonetheless. This is the natural fallout of you doing your job, and whilst they're largely unexciting, they are crucial. The second is research time.
