So, it's not surprise there's a professional association with strong ties to the defense community. In this video, we'll talk about SOLE and the two different kinds of credentials they offer. The Society of Logistics Engineers was formed in 1966. They rebranded in 2001, keeping the acronym but changing the name. Now they're SOLE, the International Society of Logistics. Because SOLE has strong ties to the military and aerospace, a lot of their materials are focused on the defense community. But to be honest, SOLE has resources that can be useful for any supply chain professional and they have members all around the world.
