Restore vintage radios
- One of my early memories of my grandpa was his collection of old radios. He had them all over the house, and was constantly tinkering with them. I thought about that as I worked on this story of an IT professional whose trip to the flea market gave him the inspiration for his side hustle that went on to earn $50,000 a year. Allen Chiang had been selling random stuff on eBay for years, and was hoping he might stumble across something new. On a table at that flea market, he happened across two original 1950s radios. They looked a little worse for wear and weren't functional, but they were bright, colorful, and bursting with nostalgia.
