- Coaching is part of our job as a leader. And it's hard enough when you can see people's work and you can see them, but when we're leading remotely, how do we give coaching and feedback? Well, it's a great question. Here are some tips for coaching your remote team members more effectively. First, make it a conversation. You're coaching them so that they can be more successful, which means that it needs to be a conversation. Not you telling them what they need to do, telling them what they did wrong, or even telling them what they did well. If coaching is about them, it must be a conversation. Second, use your webcam.
