- Hi, I'm Carrie with Chill. We have all experienced the way that stress can manifest itself in our bodies through physical tension. Most of the time we tend to carry our stress in common places of our body. Either through feeling stiff shoulders, or maybe tension in the neck, a tight jaw, even low back pain. When we learn to consciously add a little tension into those areas of our body and then relax them more fully, we can tap into that sense of being able to more deeply relax, and to even be able to wind down our minds to get a more restful sleep. And so in today's practice of a progressive relaxation, we'll experience, what it feels like to add tension to different parts of the body and then feel the relief and release of a letting it all go. So, let's practice, settle into a really comfortable posture for yourself. You might even wish to lie down. And as you come into this place of rest, let your body really…
