Reflecting on what brings you joy

- In a Stanford University study tracking emotions of a group of people between 18 and 94 years old, researchers found that older people are happier. They consistently reported just as many positive emotions as the younger participants, but had fewer negative ones. The researchers also found that older people had more mixed emotions, meaning that they didn't let frustration or anxiety keep them from saying they were happy. They were making choices to be happy, even if there were real reasons to feel otherwise. These studies are interesting because even though our bodies are not as strong and healthy as when we're younger, we can still strengthen our mindset and ability to feel joy and experience flow in our life.
