- People regularly ask me how they should stand or what they should be doing with their hands when they present. Watch me help Julia find a relaxed and confident posture for her presentation. If you're somewhere you can privately practice with us, stand up and give this a shot. If not, bookmark this video for later. Julia, you ready to get started? - I'm ready. - Okay, I'm going to have you close your eyes. Take your hands out of your pockets. And reach them up towards the ceiling. I want you to really reach, make yourself as tell as you can. And slowly lower your hands. You do this, too. Take a deep breath in through your nose, and let it out slowly through your mouth. Great. One more deep breath in, and let that one out slowly, too. I call this presentation yoga. Roll your shoulders back one, two, three times. And shrug your shoulders up towards your ears as high as you can, and then relax. Do that a couple times, too. Okay, Julia, that was great. Now take inventory of your posture.…
