- Hi, Carrie, with chill here. In this always on world, it can be hard to unplug and take a break. However, when you learn to rest your mind, by focusing your attention on a simple movement, you can find that you have the mental space to move through your day with more consistency. So, let's take a moment to recharge together. Find a comfortable sitting posture. One in which you have a little space around you to move your arms. If you're sitting in a chair, let your feet root down into the ground beneath you. If you're sitting on a cushion, like I am, allow your hips and pelvis to really settle in. Notice if you can stack your chest and shoulders squarely above your hips. And then imagine a string at the top of your head that gently lifts you skyward, so that you feel lightness and activity in your spine.
