- We all know how important money is to life and we feel like we want to give our kids the tools to make smart financial decisions but sometimes we don't where to start. We can feel a little overwhelmed. You know I feel like I have a competitive advantage in this area as a long time financial advisor and a mom of three, I often say that being a financial advisor has certainly made me a better mother and being a mother has made me a much better financial advisor. So we're going to do this together. Hi I'm Winnie Sun, a long time financial advisor, Forbes contributor, CNBC Financial Advisor Council member and the regular money personality on Good Day L.A. and together we're going to make a difference in your child's financial life. In this course, I'm going to teach you how to talk to your kids about money. These are big things and we got to give you the tools to make those decisions. For example, do you give an allowance or do you not give an allowance? How do you address the tooth fairy and how do you talk to them when they come back from school and their friends had that new toy or that new something else that they might want? Helping them make a decision between value and saving and all those things in between. I'm going to also talk to you about how to talk to them about money in today's digital age. There's so much that we're going to learn together. You and me, we're going to make sure our kids understand money together.
