Quiet your mind with alternate nostril breathing

- Hey, this is Craig, and we're going to do a breathing practice to help you quiet your mind. This is called alternate nostril breathing, and what you're going to do is take these two fingers of your right hand and just place them right in between your eyebrows. And then, with the thumb, you're going to cover the right nostril. And then you're going to take an inhale gently through the left nostril, like so. And then you're going to cover the left nostril and release the right nostril and exhale through the right nostril. And then you're going to breath in through the right nostril. Cover the right nostril, release the left, and exhale through the left. Then inhale through the left. Close the nostril, exhale through the right. And now, if you feel like you've got the rhythm, you can close your eyes and follow me. It's nice to have your eyes closed for this practice. Inhaling through the right. Close, exhale through the left. Inhale through the left. Close, and this time we'll hold it.…
