You know to keep your passwords straight, not to give out your Social Security number and not to click on emails that are obviously spam or phishing. With such safeguards in place, you feel safe in online spaces. You're not safe. As experts will tell you, digital technology is porous from top to bottom. I thought I was pretty safe too and then I interviewed cybersecurity expert, Kevin Mitnick for my podcast. Known as the world's most famous hacker, the dude's a bonafide cyber thief who served five years in federal prison, including eight months in solitary confinement. Today, companies pay him and his team to hack their networks in order to expose vulnerabilities.
