- Let's take a few minutes to build out your supply chain professional development dashboard. Once we're done, you'll have a sense of where you're strong, and where you have some opportunities to grow. And more importantly, you'll be able to set specific goals for how to improve. For each of the areas I touched on in the last video, rate yourself on a scale of one to 10. Don't worry about being precise, just choose a number that you think describes your capabilities when compared to the folks around you. For example, if you're totally tuned in to the global news and you read the Wall Street Journal everyday, than you can give yourself a 10 for knowledge of your environment. But if you avoid watching the news altogether, then you should probably give yourself a lower score. Once you've graded yourself in each of the nine areas, go back and reflect on your answers.
