- Professionalism, we have to be professionals. We have to support one another. We have to show up to work in a professional manner. Do not be engaged in gossip. Be engaged in hard work. Every person that I have met that succeeds is the hardest working person I know. They garner respect. They know their job, and they work harder. Those people succeed. I think about Gayle King, my co-worker, someone who gets up at four o'clock in the morning and usually doesn't go home until 10 o'clock at night, and I said to her, Gayle, I don't know how you do it? How do you have two jobs and all that you do. And she said, "Norah, you have two jobs here. "You have this job, and you have your job at home, "the children, just my children are potty trained now, "so I don't need to go home and cook them dinner."
