Product owner is never around

- The most common problem for agile teams is the absent product owner. Since the PO is the bond between the development team and the customer, having a gap in this area can create huge problems for the team and the product. There are some strategies to minimize the impact, though. If your PO is taking a vacation or going out on medical leave, their absence is temporary. With temporary absences, you have a few options. First, work with the PO to make sure the backlog is well-groomed for a few sprints. At the same time, ask the PO who would be a good person to step in temporarily. This could be a peer of your PO. Another option is to nominate someone from the team to fill the gap. This is a little riskier for a couple of reasons. First, the team member's work for the team will lag, creating a risk to the sprint goal.
