Process control plan

- Imagine driving a car on the highway without knowing what the speed limit is. Or worse yet, driving a car with no speedometer. Hopefully that is not the case for operators of the process that was just improved. Here comes the control plan to the rescue. It is the key deliverable in a control phase of any Lean Six Sigma project. The control plan provides process owners and operators with the means to control the process so that it performs well, day in and day out. I introduced and discussed control plans in the prerequisite courses. If you have not viewed them, or if you want a refresher, please go watch the Six Sigma Foundations and Operational Excellence Foundations courses at this time.
