- [Man] And if you are hunkering down for meditation, you know, how do you approach that. - [Woman] Well one, the magical number is nine minutes. If you can meditate consistently for nine minutes a day, you will change your brain. And so I had no idea how to do it, so I downloaded an app. So it's really, you know, whether it's using an app or whether it's going on YouTube and getting a guided meditation, I suggest learning how first, being guided by that. And sometimes your brain is so un-stilled, it's so busy that it's really helpful to have a voice outside of you guide that. So, you know, there's power in doing it together. If there's a meditation place that you can go to, personally, I prefer to be alone. It's not rocket science, it is so hard, but so easy. And it is really just focusing on your breath, period.
