- Like I said before, planning your time isn't as simple as building a daily sales clock and repeating it. Circumstances change week to week and different tasks are more appropriate on different days. You also get random obstacles that are time-consuming and throw you off your plans. They could be meetings or proposals, calls, colleagues being off sick, overrunning activities. So you need to spend either a Monday morning or a Friday evening, whichever works for you planning the week ahead and sticking to it. Plan out your sales clock for each day individually and book it in your calendar so everyone else in your organization can see when you're busy. I'll go into detail in a minute about how I book my week but you need to note down that you need to align admin time, research time and calling or selling time.
