- As a manager, introducing change presents many challenges, and one of these is maintaining business continuity. There will be increasing pressure from your organization to maintain normal levels of business performance while trying to introduce changes, so you need a plan. Business continuity plans are essential for gaining a clear understanding of the risks and their possible consequences. The plans also provide a view of how each business function fits in with what the organization does, its size, resources, where it's based, and how it works.
