Whether your company has a full service travel desk, or you make the arrangements yourself, the details of your travel affect how efficient and pleasant your journey is. This video shows some tricks to get the most out of ground transportation, hotels, and flights, based on your preferences and trip goals, and shows you how to pack for both the business and pleasure aspects of your trip. The secret is to think through your trip day by day, hour by hour, especially the travel portion. For example, let's say you're flying from Cleveland to Dallas to staff a booth on a convention show floor. In just the first day, you might take transportation five times, often carrying the booth equipment. Car to the airport, flight to the destination, car to the hotel, then to the convention space and back again.
