Plan communication of the vision
- Once the vision statement is written the next thing to consider is how to use it in your communications. The key is that it should be repeated and promoted at every turn and it should form the basis of all communications messages. Every workshop, presentation, or communication that's delivered should start with the vision. The objective is that if all stakeholders hear it repeated often enough they'll be able to relate to it, understand it, and commit to achieving it. The program sponsor as the figurehead of the program needs to consistently repeat the vision at every available opportunity. The program manager is responsible for putting together the communications and ensuring it reaches the right stakeholders at the right time. And the business change managers will be responsible for communicating the vision within their business units.
