- Michael's my husband, my partner for many years. You could not find somebody kinder and more supportive. Truly a partnership in terms of how we've raised our kids, how we get work done. I married a man like my father, who does all the cooking. I don't even go to the grocery store. My kids joke that, if they were stuck at home with me when they were smaller for a couple days and he was out on a trip, they'd be like, "She's not feeding us." I'd be like, "You know where the drawer is. "You can make your own sandwich." So we've partnered through a lot of great things, some really difficult things. Moving to California knowing nobody and starting from scratch was a great opportunity and he saw it as a challenge, even though we were moving for my job, which was great. He's changed careers a couple time and gone back to school, which is a real inspiration as well, because he's always learning and wanting to do different things.…
