- I love the saying a rising tide lifts all ships. There's something really nice about knowing that we're all in this together. And what helps one of us is going to help all of us. Let's look at two ways to help leverage relationships during a time of crisis. First, look for similar businesses that can help make you money. These are going to be businesses whose services are similar to yours that you can partner with. I'm going to give you a few examples to help start your brainstorming. Let's say you own a bakery. Look at local restaurants that might be doing takeout dinner orders. See if you can do a dinner and desert combo special. Or let's say you own a carwash. Look at local cleaning services and see if you can partner your offerings to do a two for one total clean. These are great ways to leverage partnerships to help make both companies money.
