Overview of LiquidPlanner
- [Instructor] LiquidPlanner provides higher end project, work, and resource management, but it has some limitations and is expensive. LiquidPlanner supports traditional and agile methodologies with Gantt charts and Kanban boards. Scheduling features include all the usual suspects, like tasks, milestones, deadlines, resource assignments, and task dependencies. You can also prioritize tasks and other work. One key limitation is that tasks can't have subtasks, although each task can have a checklist of what needs to be done. You can manage resources across projects and non-project work, tracking current assignments, availability, and non-working time. Using filters, you can view resources by skillset to see who can take on new work. You can create dashboards to display project information like progress and resource usage. LiquidPlanner can also manage non-project work such as one-off tasks and customer support ticket queues.…
