- It is extremely important that you over communicate throughout the entire virtual interviewing process, because when candidates don't hear back they start to imagine all the reasons why they're not hearing back from you, and of course what they anticipate is a negative outcome. And this only one reason to over communicate throughout your process. One of the other reasons is they don't have access to the information that you have. They're not getting continual updates from the team. They're not getting any feedback, so they feel out of the loop. And maybe the last time they talked to their potential employer was during the interview itself, so they think that this person is keying in on another candidate.
