- Although each person has their own unique story, what makes a gap-bearing job seeker feel like an imposter is a sense of shame and the fear of being vulnerable. This fear is fueled by the negative voices in their head and can be their biggest obstacle in the return to work journey. - We call these voices mindset disruptors. And if you're feeling stuck right now, chances are you're being run by one. - Quieting these voices starts with being aware of them and ends with turning down the volume. There are two primary mindset disruptor voices. The first is the imposter voice.
