- A number of years ago a natural juice bar hired me to help them with a huge problem. They made fresh juices, smoothies, and organic snacks for their customers. Ti was really good food. But they were getting bad reviews online due to poor customer service. I did an undercover visit before I did my training. What I found, shocked me. The customer service was horrible. Most of the team were young, friendly people that were great at making delicious drinks. So why was the customer service and culture so poor? Have you ever heard the saying that one bad apple can poison the bunch? There was one team member who was bitter, not only towards the customers, but to the staff and his boss. The employees avoided him whenever they could. He would yell at them, degrade them, and bully them, even in front of the customers. So I pull them aside to see what the issue was, and he said, the people I work with are idiots, the customers are too demanding, and the boss is a joke. This was a real problem.…
