Organization culture: Values and behaviors

- Culture has become one of the most discussed aspects of HR's work and focus whilst it's arguably one of the most complex and hardest to define areas of organizational life. It is often represented by a set of company values, and further described by HR in a list of behaviors. The company culture won't appear in an employment contract, but it is increasingly a key part of the employee brand and described in recruitment materials. Culture is often described as things that represent the way things are around here. People will often say that their work is good, their colleagues are friendly towards them, and even their pay is okay. They will still be dissatisfied or look elsewhere for a new job as they will say I don't fit with the culture here.
