Nurture your network to strengthen your brand

- Your network is key in building your brand. You want to be sure that people who know you and respect you understand your brand and your value proposition. This group includes clients, colleagues, classmates, friends and family. They don't need to be experts, but it would be great if they're able to recognize a good prospect for you and be able to recall your value enough to make the connection. For example, it's easy to remember that someone is the call center doctor, and that they help solve problems in call center operations. If someone in your network is talking about trouble in their call center, it's easy to say my friend is an expert in the call center business, do you want me to facilitate an introduction? Much easier to enlist help from friends with a strong brand like that than a more vague value proposition like strategic partnerships or executive coaching.
