- To maintain your status as a valuable employee, behaving ethically is a must. Your overall success can depend upon your ability to respond and act within expected ethical norms. As business ethics is such a hot topic, a quick search of the internet can yield several good resources and case studies you can review to expand your exposure to dealing with ethical issues. I do have some specific recommendations, however. Both IBM and Price Waterhouse Coopers have published thorough ethical frameworks for their businesses, and they're available online. You'll find links to these resources in the exercise files. The U.S. federal government Department of Energy as also produced as very succinct set of ethical expectations for employees. I put that in the exercise file as well. I also have a book recommendation.
