Netflix got it right

- A positive example is Netflix. So Netflix, if you're old enough to remember, believe it or not, you used to get a DVD in a mailer from Netflix. You used to tell Netflix, "Yeah, send me 'Rocky I,' "send me 'Rocky II,' send me, you know, I don't know, "'Mission Impossible,'" and you'd get a DVD, you'd watch "Rocky I," you'd send it back, you'd get Rocky II through the mail. And now, Netflix is totally streaming and in the content creation business, not just distribution business. And you have to say, either Netflix was really smart or they were really lucky. But the name of Netflix from the start was Net-flix, as opposed to DVD-flix or Mail-flix or physical DVD-flix. They knew net from the start. And so I hope that it was because they foresaw a day of file sharing and streaming. Or maybe they just got lucky. But, you know, as I say, if you're the successor, you can reinvent history.
