Your entire upper body has an impact on your arms. In this video, learn how to focus on relieving tension in your wrists, by focusing on your neck.
- Hi, I'm Baxter, and welcome … to "Neck Movements for Wrist Pain." … We're going to do a little bit of movement for your neck today … that hopefully will have an impact … on how your wrists are feeling. … So if you're sitting down, certainly come up to standing, … and if you're wearing glasses, … you might even take your glasses off, … just to give your nose and your ears a little break … from the weight of the glasses. … So these movements of the neck are going to be really simple, … but I want you to connect with your breath … as you're doing them. … So the first one I call the Owl Turns, … like the owl that lives in the tree. … So we're going to inhale and turn the head … towards the right side of your room, … or towards your right shoulder, … and then exhale back to center. … Then inhaling, turn your head towards the left, … and exhale back to center. … We're going to do that a couple times. … So inhaling to the right. … I'm going to the point where I feel some good stretch. … I'm not trying to overdo it. …
