- As a scrum master and later an Agile coach, I found myself spending quite a bit of time coaching up and around my Agile teams. That meant I had to take the perspective of the leaders I was guiding. I had to learn what each role was demanding. Knowing what motivated the leaders helped me define success with them from an Agile mindset. If you think that sounds hard, you're right. You see leadership, while one of the most studied management topics, is generally not well understood. So I decided that in order to be a successful coach and a scrum master, I needed to learn everything I could on the topic, and I want to share it with you.
