- So there you go. Staying on point isn't that hard. Master the basics of presenting. If you commit to correctly developing your talk, and then practicing, your presentations will get stronger and stronger. In terms of practice, don't be afraid to get others involved and then be open to their feedback. You can go even further during your practice sessions by empowering one or more of your colleagues to create a few technical challenges for you. Maybe they tell you that your video won't work or that your file is corrupt, and you have no presentation. Then, at a time you couldn't predict, you have to press forward with only your knowledge and voice. That's good practice. Finally, go ahead and make a standard checklist that you can use for all future presentations.
