- When companies are trying to recruit the newest generation they obviously try to put value propositions out there that they think will connect best. The challenge with this new generation, Gen Z, showing up in the workplace is that we find most companies are using millennial tactics. - He's absolutely right. When I log onto a company's website and try to find out more information about their work culture, often times I find messages that talk about teamwork, collaboration, how it's one big family. And sure we all know that's important, but what Gen Z really cares about is the money. - So what happened here? Well, with millennials when they entered the workplace it was economic prosperity. So they thought anything was possible.
