- I'm going to talk about two exciting new sections, tailoring, and models, methods and artifacts. Tailoring is the deliberate adaptation of the project delivery approach, the processes, the methods, and the artifacts to make them appropriate for the environment and the project. Tailoring entails the deliberate selection and adjustment of multiple project factors regardless of how you deliver value, whether it's predictive, hybrid, or agile. Because tailoring is so specific to each individual organization and project, I won't go into further detail here, rather, we'll move right into models, methods and artifacts. The models, methods and artifacts are a big chunk of what you tailor and adapt for your project. Models are small-scale simplified versions of reality. We use them to help guide us.
